conquering the world is hard.

Lucio's brother, Charlie was in the states for a year, and right now his host family from South Carolina is visiting. I’ve been hanging out with them and the Scelsos and it’s been a lot of fun!

Yesterday we were at the Scelso’s farm, and Lucio’s older brother Marcelo brought out this board game, which we were all amped to play. It’s like "Risk," the game where the objective is to basically conquer the world. WOULD have been fun if my objective were not to conquer ALL of Europe, 4 countries in Asia and 2 in South America. And if I rolled higher than twos on the dice. And if I didn’t spend the entire second half of the game trying to invade Columbia and protect my stronghold on Iran. Oh well. I lost purdy bad.
