The Argentine senate voted on the tax increase last night, a vote that comes almost 4 months after la presidenta annouced the plan which was followed by one of the biggest crises Argentina has seen in modern history. The Senate's vote was a dead tie, 36 to 36. It all came down to vice president Cobos. And he voted against the government!
