Right at this moment I am in San Bartolo, a small surfing town south of Lima where my dear friends and former roommates Cecily and Mel have been living here for a month, working with Generación, an organization connected with Not for Sale that houses at-risk street kinds from Lima. While the kids live here, they learn to surf, play music, go to school, and just basically are in a safe and warm environment. I briefly met some of the kids today, but will be here hangin out with all of them until Saturday. It's a very awesome group of people!
I will blog more and post pictures of San Bartolo and our two days in Lima, which were great. I just wanted to let everyone know where I was! It's great to be here with Mel and Cec!
