I had a fantastic weekend with my parents! It was a brief but whirlwind weekend.
We spent all day Sunday in Sonoma County, exploring wine country by way of Pinots, Zinfandels and other funny wine names that I don't know--I just drink. It was such a beautiful day and we got some much-needed Vitamin D. And wine. I never get much of a chance to explore other places in California other than San Francisco since I don't have a car, so going north was really fun.
Gotta love the food we ate all weekend, too: Italian to Japanese, Burmese to BLTs. They also came bearing chocolate fudge cookies, much to the delight of my four roomates.
Mom showed off her Spanish, which she's been practicing in the car every day to work. ("Dónde está el centro?", "Soy vegetariana") She's not bad!
And finally, Dad and I went on a long bike ride up and down these freaking SF hills. My butt hurts.
