the "until this shit's done" tour

Slowly but surely, the semester is wrapping up (I'm done with finals tomorrow!) and those leaving Córdoba early to get back home are going within the next couple of weeks. But alas, as it always happens, a bunch of my musician friends just now have started to jam together. They are all amazing--Caleb on acoustic, Gabe on an African drum (which I don't know how to spell...), Lucio on harmonica, his brother Charlie on electric and Maria on Violin. On Friday they had a jam session at my apartment on the terrace for all to see, and on Monday Lucio managed to book a gig at a restaurant in town called La Ochava. So we quickly invited all the intercambios through e-mails, Facebook messages and phone calls and got as many people as we could to watch. It was a total success! It was a very fun night. And now they are calling what's left of their time jamming together The "Until This Shit's Done" Tour, cause we all be leavin'!

They played some of Caleb's music, some famous Argentine rock and blues songs, and a few other American covers. Fantastico!
