a day in alta gracia

Saturday Mom, Dad, Lucio and I went to Alta Gracia, a pleasant town 30 km from Cordoba. Founded in 1588 by the Jesuits, Alta Gracia has some amazing architecture, including the old Jesuit estancia and church. SO pretty!
The town itself is lovely, too. We poked around and visited the Ernesto "Che" Guevara museum, which is Che's actual house where he grew up. It was a really cool museum, filled with his old artifacts, letters and tons of photos. We also went to another museum, the old house of Spanish composer Manuel de Falla. Both houses were so lovely and in peaceful parts of town. It was awesome to get away from the city again and breathe some fresh, quiet air!
